If you struggle with hormone imbalance don't treat the hormones!
8 out of 10 people struggling with hormone imbalance is due to hormone disruptors present in the body - chemicals, mold and/ or certain heavy metals.
If you fail to test for the causes of the hormonal imbalance, you will be stuck taking often very high dosages of bioidentical hormones. Hormones - regardless of being bioidentical or not, are never without risk. While they can be an absolute game changer for treating issues related to menopause (female hormone decline) and andropause (male hormone decline), what I’ve found in 80% of cases is that you can get the body back to balance with either no hormone therapy or with the bare minimum IF you first treat hormone disruption issues.
This is because mold and various hormone disrupting chemicals often attach themselves to our hormone receptors, blocking bioidentical hormones from attaching.
So treating hormone imbalance with hormone therapy is the wrong way to go in 8 out of 10 cases.

Magnesium is the no. 1 most commonly found deficiency today
It would be optimal if we could eat enough of all the vitamins and minerals, because food is more recognizable to the body and it is easier to absorb. The sources of magnesium in our food products include whole grains, nuts, sprouts, legumes, cocoa, meat and vegetables. However, what I see when I test, is that many lack it - in 9 out of 10 cases, we see a deficit of magnesium. Magnesium is, together with zinc and silica, among the minerals we commonly find is difficult to obtain an optimal level of through our food because the soil is so depleted and our demands for these minerals have increased due to various stressors in modern life.
Study confirms: limit cell phone exposure during pregnancy
"Many studies have shown that electromagnetic fields can have destructive effects on sex hormones, gonadal function, fetal development, and pregnancy. So people must be aware of the negative effects of EMFs. Although the impact of the waves varied at different frequencies, it is better to stay as far away as possible from their origin because of the risks associated with exposures to these waves. In addition, people can use natural antioxidants to help reduce the effects of these waves."
A review on Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and the reproductive system: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5014506/
In short: stop carrying your phone on your body especially during pregnancy or when wanting to become pregnant as it may affect both your own fertility as well as your offspring’s development (autism is a big worry right now that seems to be linked to excessive EMF exposure).
Keep your phone 3 meters away from your body to limit EMF exposure when not using it, and stop scrolling on it like it is your best friend, cos it is not. We are all wasting our lives scrolling non-stop on these smart phones and all these smart devices are under suspicion for wrecking our health big time.
ARTICLE: Recovering from mold illness
I’ve written an article based on my 10 years experience working with mold illness cases - part two of the series is out now (Danish only): Click here to read it on p 20. This article is written for the non-profit organization LNS for clients and therapists wishing to integrate conventional and holistic medicine and better transparency in health care. I recommend joining the benefits of this organization by becoming a member. You can read more about it here (Danish only): https://lns.dk/ and feel free to share.
Early science: How your Smartphone may impact your pregnancy
We already know that men shouldn’t be carrying the phone in their pocket, if they want their guys to work. However, it is not a far fetch to think “huh - how about women? how might our excessive smartgadget use be affecting pregnancy amongst women?”
Well, here you go:
“The findings of this review showed that EMF radiation exposure is associated with hormonal, thermal, and cardiovascular changes among adults. However, the reviewed studies did not consider the impacts of EMF radiation exposure on pregnancy outcomes specifically, which makes it difficult to draw conclusions from this review. Only four of the reviewed studies were conducted among pregnant women. These studies reported that EMF radiation exposure during pregnancy is associated with miscarriages and fluctuations in the fetal temperature and heart rate variability, as well as infant anthropometric measures.”

Study shows: Your microwave may be the biggest EMF contributor in your home
“Microwaves are electromagnetic waves with frequencies ranging from 300 MHz to 300 GHz. Microwaves are widely used in households, industry, communications, and medical and military buildings, and they provide substantial contributions to the development of human society. However, with its popularization, increasing attention has been paid to its influence on humans. Electromagnetic radiation can be absorbed by organisms, in which it causes a series of physiological and functional changes. Many intricate electrical activities occur in the central nervous system, including learning and memory, which are therefore vulnerable to electromagnetic radiation. Moreover, the popularization of mobile phones has made them the main source of brain exposure to radiation. Therefore, the central nervous system is considered one of the most sensitive organs that is targeted by microwave radiation. A large number of studies have shown that microwave radiation can cause a series of adverse reactions in the central nervous system, including sleep disorders in addition to learning and memory impairments.” Click on to read the full study.
12 major things that affect your health today (and it's not gluten or cake)
When we want to improve our health, we oftentimes spend all our time focusing on one aspect of our health. And this aspect may not be the one which is causing the health imbalance. This is why “test don’t guess” becomes super important - we want to know our weaknesses and also what our body nutritionally needs (protein/fats/(carbs/vitamin/minerals etc.). If we don’t know the facts, then we might be missing the boat completely. It is super unscientific to guess what will make an impact on our health. Health is not simply “move more and eat more greens”. Everyone knows that, yet many of us who follow that basic recommendation, are not at all healthy. We struggle with abdominal fat, infertility issues, fragile bones, migraines, digestive upset whenever we are not eating bland diet foods and in worst case, we get cancer. The key here is to understand the many different factors today that affect health and pin-point which are relevant for our specific situation. We want to focus on our weakest link. Quite often that has nothing to do with eating glutenfree or skipping cake.
"Root cause in the dramatic rise of chronic disease"
EMF exposure increases levels of peroxynitrite. Peroxynitrite is a powerful oxidant exhibiting a wide array of tissue damaging effects, including lipid peroxidation, inactivation of enzymes and ion channels via protein oxidation and nitration, and inhibition of mitochondrial respiration (Virag et al., 2003). In a single generation, there has been a dramatic acceleration in the prevalence of diseases and disorders like autism (2094%), Alzheimer’s (299%), COPD (148%), diabetes (305%), sleep apnea (430%), celiac disease (1111%), ADHD (819%), asthma (142%), depression (280%), bipolar disease in youth (10833%), osteoarthritis (449%), lupus (787%), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD –120%), chronic fatigue syndrome (11027%), fibromyalgia (7727%), multiple sclerosis (117%) and hypothyroidism (702%). How dad's diet affects kids' health
We don’t know a lot about how the father’s diet affects the health of kids, but new research is showing that what dad eats before conception matters. And this may be bad news especially for vegans not paying attention to protein needs. Mind you, you can get enough protein from plant-based sources, but chances are you are not - that’s why “test don’t guess” applies to all things health related. The best aluminium-free deodorants article interview (Danish only)
I am interviewed by online magazine ToTheMoonHoney.com about health issues surrounding heavy metals and common beauty products that spell disaster for our health and long-term beauty. Did you know that aluminium (present amongst other things in most deodorants) is linked to Alzheimer’s, infertility and breast cancer risk? This interview is in Danish only. Click on to read it.
New study reveals Denmark's water supply is spilling over with pesticides
One of the key things I test the majority of my clients for are pesticides. Many Danish doctors in Denmark call this “alternative”. I use CLIA-accredited laboratories by the way - and you can see a before and after case study of how chemicals from drinking water were messing with a client of mine in a post dated March 3rd 2020. She noted she felt a difference shortly after installing a shower filter even! Let me be clear: there is nothing “alternative” about testing for substances known to cause infertility, disrupt hormones and much more. However, it is VERY alternative, to say the least, that we are not recommended to test for pesticides when we go to a health check at our primary care physician. How on earth are they going to treat those myriad of symptoms associated with pesticide toxicity, if they don’t even know how to test for it? Or better yet would be to understand the need for collaboration in heath care today - both acute symptom-mangement is absolutely needed along with a more cause-oriented approach to prevent disease in the future. One without the other is useless. The conventional health care system today is by far the most “alternative” solution to health problems. It is indeed quite “alternative” to treat infertility with huge doses of synthetic hormones, rather than test for hormone disrupting substances firstly at least. A new study from the environmental agency of Denmark just released this report here of how we are literally drowning in pesticides. Yet no one is talking about the importance of TESTING people so we can treat them accordingly. Read the Danish article about the matter here: https://www.altinget.dk/artikel/stor-undersoegelse-viser-ulovlige-pesticider-i-grundvandet-det-er-helt-uacceptabelt

Client case study: before and after
"Test don't guess" applies to any health matter - but the key question remains whether we are testing for trickle down effects or causative factors? What we choose to test for will shape how succesful our treatment outcome in the long run is - symptom management vs. treating the cause.
Where does the science stand with the health dangers of wireless technology?
What is affecting our health epidemically right now - wireless technology incl. cell-phones, smartmeters, wifi routers, baby alarms etc. A Silicon-valley engineer turned technology health advocate, Jeromy Johnson discusses our attachment to technology and the health hazards such an addiction may hold. Jeromy Johnson is an expert in mitigating the negative impacts of Electromagnetic Field (EMF) exposure.
New research shows promise for detoxing mercury
Mercury is still one of the heavy metals that takes a long time to detoxify with the remedies we know today - that is, if we want to do it safely and not risk redistributing it around our body and brain. Redistribution is a major concern with some of the methods widely used today i.e. DMPS and DMSA along with taking chlorella alone (must always be taken with another thiol-containing substance such as cilantro, as it is not stable for detox purposes taken alone). Important to be aware that approx. 30% of people can't tolerate chlorella very well, which might be due to optimized function of the enzyme cellulase. If you are unable to tolerate chlorella, one might consider adding an enzyme with cellulase in it to help digest the chlorella. Recently more and more studies with chitosan, however, seem to show that this substance may be more effective for mercury. On a sidenote: I will be in Los Angeles March + April, where I can be booked for talks, workshops etc. Check out examples of some of the previous talks I’ve done by clicking right here >>
Mold - the hidden health threat in your home
Did you know that something as simple as mold is linked to migraines, "fog brain", depression, digestive disorders, skin ulcers, sinusitis, cancer, estrogen dominance, joint pain and weight problems?
Yes, the symptoms (1,2,3,4,5,6) range widely and which we develop depends on our genetic dispositions and other biochemical imbalances in the body. Recently, an article was written in a Danish newspaper outlet about a case involving a woman who had even lost sight due to mold. And in spite of that, we cannot get tested for these things covered via the public healthcare system which we have paid more than our fair share of taxes towards. So much for socialist wellfare system. No wonder we have so many so-called "chronic disorders" when we do not offer testing to investigate possible toxins involved in these disorders. Our health care system status quo is very unscientific quite frankly.
Why the Keto diet spells disaster for breastcancer
One of the largest studies to date on the keto diet and breast cancer recently came out and showed clearly: NO you should not forego fruit, potatoes, legumes, and whole grains in order to load up on fat and more fat on the current keto-craze, if you want to have the best survival rate when it comes to breast cancer. Now why might that be?
What hormone issues, weight gain, digestive issues and mental health have in common.
I can’t stand the word detox frankly. Yet I use it more than any other word in my practice these days. It is one of the core things I do today, because the lab testing I do is repeatedly showing that most issues you guys are coming in with are due to blockages in the system due to various accumulated toxins. Most symptoms can be traced back to different toxins that are interfering with the body’s ability to function and repair normally. Sidenote: For those of you who were at my talk in Øksnehallen in Copenhagen Sunday 30th of September I am attaching handouts for the talk as promised - click here to download the notes (DANISH only).
Say NO to breast implants: 56,6% increase in cancer cases linked to breast implants
With cosmetic enhancements becoming the norm rather than the exception, it is discombobulating to discover, that many of these procedures are a disaster for our health in the long run. The problem is that breast implants, botox injections, restylane etc. are performed these days at a very young age, and they are filled with harmful chemicals and neurotoxic substances. Many kids in highschool think that it is just as acceptable to get a boob job as it is to ask for a car for their birthday. And then there are those of us, who paid for our own car back in the day. Yeah I still can't believe no-one wrapped a Maserati under the Christmas tree, but hey rough life buttercup. Anyway, we are only now starting to see the tip of the iceberg of how these procedures play out after a decade - and the news is not good. It is very, very bad.
