“Most people silently fear being replaceable – and in serving that fear, they create the outcome they dread.”
Burnout isn’t emotional. It’s biochemical. Before your life falls apart, your labs already show the pattern – cortisol chaos, glucose instability, inflammatory drift, and the physiology of living out of alignment. Performance is killing trust. In work, relationships, and even health, people are performing instead of connecting – and it’s making them replaceable. In my new interview, I talk about why authenticity is cognitively magnetic, why your brain relaxes around congruence, and what actually makes someone irreplaceable.
I also break down my method – where medicine, performance, and strategy meet – and why health becomes leverage, not damage control. And yes: why longevity hype without clinical training is malpractice.

Why Nutritional Therapies Are Rejected By Mainstream Medicine
“The medical community has been slow to adopt targeted nutritional supplementation for mental health and healing—a form of rejection and resistance dubbed “The Tomato Effect.” But a new paradigm—a “redefined” perspective—is slowly but surely gaining ground.
For decades, I’ve struggled to understand the tragically slow pace that medicine adopts to the role of diet and nutrition on brain health. This article in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) from 1984 has given me insight on why and it may be illuminating for you too. Please let me know your thoughts.
In the article I’m referring to, titled “The Tomato Effect,” the team of Dr. James Goodwin (internal medicine) and Dr. Jean Goodwin (psychiatry) wrote:
“The tomato effect in medicine occurs when an efficacious treatment for a certain disease is ignored or rejected because it does not ‘make sense’ in light of the accepted theories of disease mechanism and drug interaction.”

Natural vitamins may be superior to synthetic ones
“There appears to be a tendency to label those who profess that natural vitamins are better than synthetic ones as quacks. This broad brush label may be stifling legitimate nutrition research. This paper describes physiochemical differences between certain natural and synthetic vitamins, proven clinical advantages of natural vitamins, and some of the effects this labeling may lead to. It concludes that lessons of history as well as modern science support the view that natural vitamins are nutritionally superior to synthetic ones.”

Are you taking synthetic vitamin C?
I am not a big fan of synthetic supplements - and there are plenty of studies supporting that synthetic vitamins are NOT comparable to natural vitamins due to missing co-factors amongst other issues.
Synthetic vitamin C is however what most of us are consuming if we are taking supplements on the regular. And I only recommend synthetic vitamin C if you are acutely fighting an infection as the longterm benefits are severely lacking - on the contrary.
A recent study reported a positive association between supplemental vitamin C intake and kidney stones in a cohort of 23,355 Swedish men; the multivariable adjusted relative risk associated with supplemental use of vitamin C was almost double compared with no use!
Read the full study here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23381591/
NOTE: I absolutely do recommend supplements, but the quality most of us are taking is absolute garbage and not related to better health outcome. The headlines in the newspapers do not differentiate between synthetic supplements and naturally derived supplements, although this is the key issue in the health outcome!
Article feature: why we want to let go of the victim mindset
I am featured in an article in CanvasRebel on my thoughts on how our upbringing affects our ability to navigate in life.
When it comes to moving the needle to become healthier and happier beings, I believe one of the most important things we need to remember today is to avoid the trap of the victim mindset. Whatever has happened in our life, nothing good comes from ongoing victimization. There may be many reasons as to why we feel victimized - and indeed sometimes we simply are the victim. However, no empowerment comes if we choose to keep being a victim long-term. We all go through trauma - the key is to not to get stuck in poor-me or bitterness - but rather to develop character, compassion and resilience as we face obstacles in life.
Obviously this is much easier said than done, and there are certainly many cases where I cannot fathom how any human has endured such struggles we sometimes read about in the news or elsewhere. Yet the fact is that only misery and resentment comes from allowing ourselves to stay stuck in a victim mindset.
And for many of us, we have a choice to create the life we want rather than complain about the life we have and yet we take no action to change it.

Why I use grapefruit seed extract oil in nose oil for my clients
A majority of clients show decreased drainage of the sinuses when they come in for a thermography scan. Not only does poor nose breathing affect brain functioning, it also impairs fat metabolism and can even negatively affect our facial features!
Many of us women will spend endless amounts of money on vanity stuff like fillers, botox, face lifting, serums and all sorts of stuff that promise to keep us young, yet the secrets to growing older gracefully and looking youthful is a reflection of our inner health. Something to many of us simply scoff at til we are desperately sick. Rarely, do we link our health to our skin elasticity, cellulite and darkness under our eyes - yet we should, because when we show signs of premature aging and early onset of graying hair this is a reflection of biochemical imbalances and nutrient deficiencies. Things that in the long run cannot simply be fixed with hair color in a bottle or a magical serum or filler.
Nose breathing (or rather lack thereof) being a prime example of something few os uf think would affect both our waistline and facial features. Yet it does.
I’ve been custom-blending nose oil mixtures for all my clients showing impaired nasal breathing containing custom blends of essential oil with grapefruit seed extract in order to combat biofilm, mold spores and research has shown that it also is helpful against viral issues incl. covid. And this makes sense since the primary rout of exposure is through our respiratory organs. Click on to read the study.
Cordyceps: more than 21 clinically approved benefits on human health including anti-diabetic, anti-tumor, anti-oxidative, immunomodulatory, sexual potentiator and anti-ageing effects.
“Cordyceps has a long history of use as a lung and kidney tonic, and for the treatment of chronic bronchitis, asthma, tuberculosis and other diseases of the respiratory system. The cardiovascular effects of Cordyceps are being noticed more frequently by researchers as it works through variety of possible ways either by lowering high blood pressure via direct dilatory effects or mediated through M-cholinergic receptors resulting in improvement in the coronary and cerebral blood circulation.”

Are vegetarians more at risk for mental disorders/depression/anxiety?
“Conclusion: Vegetarian men have more depressive symptoms after adjustment for socio-demographic factors. Nutritional deficiencies (e.g. in cobalamin or iron) are a possible explanation for these findings, however reverse causation cannot be ruled out.” There has been a lot of studies on health benefits of vegan/vegetarian diets - both pro and con. Some show improved health aspects and some do not. Many of the health benefits are likely associated with simply choosing whole foods over processed foods and not exclusion of meat. Otherwise there would be no case for the carnivore diet which is currently trending.
Garlic for better dental health and to combat gingivitis
“Conclusion: This research demonstrated that daily consumption of garlic benefits oral health by reducing gingival inflammation and gingival bleeding, as compared to a placebo control.”

Turmeric: Why you may not be benefiting from it at all (do this)
“In humans receiving a dose of 2 g of curcumin alone, serum levels of curcumin were either undetectable or very low. Concomitant administration of 20 mg of piperine with curcumin, however, produced much higher concentrations within 30 min to 1 h after drug treatment; piperine increased the bioavailability of curcumin by 2,000%. Other promising approaches to increase the bioavailability of curcumin in humans include the use of nanoparticles (73), liposomes (77), phospholipid complexes (78), and structural analogues (75). “

My talk from The Cancer Conference (Danish only)
In 2018 I was a keynote speaker at The Cancer Conference Copenhagen amongst some of Denmark’s most famous doctors incl. Claus Hancke and Carsten Vagn-Hansen. I presented the topic “Treating the cause vs. the symptoms” which you can watch in addition to the video with the panel discussion afterwards, where I answered questions from 4:33 minutes in and onwards. Both videos are in Danish only.
Should we believe the so-called "experts"?
Let’s not forget many self-claimed experts are heavily funded by industry. My dad grew up in the 50’s which was spilling over with ads like above and below. Yes, there was a time where people were told by medical doctors that smoking was healthy. Several lawsuits and unfortunately many, many… many decades later, we all know smoking is a top killer. But how could we not question these ads back in the day? How did it in any way seem logical that inhaling smoke would ever be a good idea? It happened because we turned off our brain and relied on authorities blindly. Authorities are meant to guide us because they often do have more detailed knowledge in specific areas than we might have, but they are never to be followed blindly - we should always use our own common sense. No “science” can override common sense. The tobacco industry bribed doctors heavily to promote these lies under a cover of “science” and “doctor-approved”. Is this limited to the doctor field? No, of course not - any “expert title” can be used as a veil to mislead the public when financial interests are at play. We cannot trust on someone based on titles, this is sheep behaviour. We need to always look for the money trail. There is just as much “bad science” today - flawed and rigged by financial interests as there is good unbiased science. As a society we tend to repeat the mistakes of yesterday today - and we cannot afford that anymore. We cannot afford to not adhere to “the precautionary principle” - that means we MUST insist on waiting til things have been tested safe, rather than introducing drugs, new technology etc. just because it has not yet been proven harmful and there are not yet enough deaths to show a statistic correlation. That is insanity. We must insist on NOT using humans as lab rats (and we shouldn’t be using lab rats either for that matter). We are doing this right now in regards to gmo, wireless technology, new drugs, vaccines being released too soon to the public (of course we need vaccines for various diseases, that is not the question, but we need them to have shown “safe” - and that is the controversy today). Luckily more and more doctors are speaking up against the vested financial interests in our health, which has led to us taking drugs based on profitable reasons rather than actual efficacy.
The science of Ayurveda: Study reveals science to ancient body-type classification system
In Ayurveda they use the classification system of the “doshas” to type people. This is a simple yet scientifically based method to be able to quickly determine which biochemistry type a person is, and thus the basic dietary strategies that match that. Now obviously this is just a starting point in regards to the basic stuff like “should this person be eating more protein? or “is a plant-based diet better for this type?”. After typing a person in Ayurveda, you still want to combine this with clinical labs to understand biochemical imbalances of the individual, toxic load, nutrient levels, mitochondrial functioning, digestive capacity, hormones etc. I began understanding the scientific value of this classification system after reading Dr. Eric Braverman’s book “The Edge Effect”, prior to me working for him in New York several years ago now. And this system is not merely some “alternative weird stuff”. More and more medical doctors are beginning to connect the dots of Western clinical science with the time-tested science of ancient Eastern medicine such as Ayurveda. Here are just a few of the studies which support the use of Ayurveda as a science-based method:
New Copenhagen event (in Danish only) Tuesday 5th of May: Anti-aging strategies to look and feel great
Tuesday 5th of May 17-19:30 at Health Clinic, Amaliegade 42, 1236 Copenhagen I am doing another open talk even in Copenhagen - write to viva@vitavica.com to register. Did you know that your liver is your # 1 anti-aging organ? That your liver is responsible for metabolizing hormones and detoxifying. If your liver does not work you will see it in your skin and may also suffer with reduced ability to burn fat as well as hormonal imbalances - things we most often treat as symptoms rather than identifying the underlying cause. Last open talk event in February was fully booked. I can be booked for talks in Los Angeles and Copenhagen - to book a talk drop me a line by replying to this email.
Liposomal turmeric (curcuma) therapeutic effect in breast, prostate, cervical, lung and liver cancer study shows
Turmeric, although an efficient plant medicine, is not very well absorbed, which makes it a so-so choice if not in its liposomal form for treating serious diseases. Liposomes provide a type of effective drug delivery system for curcuma and makes its bioavailability closer to 100%, which is phenomenal. Yes, I am pretty crazy about liposomal nutrients simply because they offer 100% bioavailability - and we are not what we eat, but what we absorb. I was the first practitioner to write about liposomal nutrient delivery system in Denmark almost a decade ago - online publication of the print stil available here (Danish only). Anyways, back to curcuma. In the study they conclude about liposomal curcuma: “Therefore, the combination of curcuma (turmeric) and liposomes may be an ideal strategy in clinical practice to treat cancers.” Read the full study here: Int J Nanomedicine. 2017; 12: 6027–6044.
