Article feature: How EMF from wifi, smartphones and more is a hidden health threat

I have written about the health issues surrounding man-made radiation from wifi, smart phones and cell towers for the Danish health organization MayDay. Read it here:

MayDay is one of the organizations I myself have chosen to support, because they do a huge amount of voluntary work to ensure free speech, balanced debate and oppose monopoly on our health - you can support them for only DKK 200 annually:

Too much omega-3 is too much of a good thing!

Did you know that too much Omega-3 actually impairs the immune system's ability to kill pathogens, thus increasing viral pathogen burden? Yes, many of us think that the more fish oil the better, but as with anything: too much of a good thing is just not a good thing anymore and - surprise - actually proinflammatory!

Support Professor Olle's groundbreaking work to save the honeybees - and all of us.

The honeybees are dying out - and it's a global disaster for all of us.

They are on the verge of extinction due to overuse of pesticides and research showing that EMF radiation also plays a big role - perhaps the biggest.

One of the best gifts you can give this year is to Swedish professor Olle Johansson's research on this particular area, which affects us all. Professor Olle has done a huge job of proving the many harmful effects of mobile and wifi radiation - and fights daily against the telecommunications industry and the economic stakeholders who do not want his research published.

Professor Olle researches things that are important for nature and our lives without underlying economic interests and therefore his pioneering research is dependent on us all supporting his work - support with whatever you feel like, everything helps: https://honeywire.org/research - and please share the link.

I'm LIVE: talking with personal trainer Rocky Snyder

I'm talking to personal trainer Rocky Snyder about how mental health, hormone imbalance and men's health issues more than ever is tied to toxicity issues (also lots of crazy facial expressions going on here, but hey, I just had a double-dipped chocolate croissant, so probably a sugar-high, what can I say).

Why you do NOT want to consume "light" or "sugarfree"

I’ve never been a fan of light products. It’s just counterintuitive to common sense: the body counts calories partly based on taste in combo with calorie density, and if we mess with food, that will very likely have an impact on our appetite-satiety switch, which is the worst thing ever to mess with, if we wish to have a healthy relationship with food, body and weight. It is true: we don’t have science to support that drinking artificial sweetened products can be tied to serious diseases. However, I think that is pretty much besides the point. Just because you don’t get cancer from one single life-style factor, it doesn’t make it harmless.

Genetic effects of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields

“The types of gene expression affected (e.g., genes involved in cell cycle arrest, apoptosis and stress responses, heat-shock proteins) are consistent with the findings that EMF causes genetic damages” Read full study here: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/15368378.2021.1881866

This is crazy: How source of funding affects results (on dangers of wifi and cell phone use)

“Several meta-analyses dating from about 2000 all report significant associations between exposure and risk of leukemia. By examining subsequent reports on childhood leukemia it is clear that almost all government or independent studies find either a statistically significant association between magnetic field exposure and childhood leukemia, or an elevated risk of at least OR = 1.5, while almost all industry supported studies fail to find any significant or even suggestive association. A secondary goal of this report is to examine the level of evidence for exposure and elevated risk of various adult cancers. Based on pooled or meta-analyses as well as subsequent peer-reviewed studies there is strong evidence that excessive exposure to magnetic fields increases risk of adult leukemia, male and female breast cancer and brain cancer. There is less convincing but suggestive evidence for elevations in several other cancer types. There is less clear evidence for bias based on source of funding in the adult cancer studies. There is also some evidence that both paternal and maternal prenatal exposure to magnetic fields results in an increased risk of leukemia and brain cancer in offspring. When one allows for bias reflected in source of funding, the evidence that magnetic fields increase risk of cancer is neither inconsistent nor inconclusive. Furthermore adults are also at risk, not just children, and there is strong evidence for cancers in addition to leukemia, particularly brain and breast cancer.”

I recommend everyone get an EMFields Acoustimeter AM11 (retails for approx. 500USD/ 2800 Danish Kroner), which is an easy tool to measure your home environment safety and do something about it. Without testing your environment and understanding where it is coming from (your own devices, cell phone towers, your neighbour’s wifi router placed against your bedroom etc.), it gets very abstract to talk about whether EMF is an issue for your and your family - test don’t guess. Lead poisoning linked to ADHD

Did you know that lead poisoning causes cognitive, motor, and behavioral changes? In addition, it has been shown, that it also plays a role in the pathophysiology of ADHD. Lead exposure is estimated to account for 290,000 excess cases of ADHD in US children.

Read the full study here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17185283/

The most common sources of lead are through our drinking water and typical “men’s jobs” i.e. mechanics and the like. If we don’t test for it, we can’t treat it.

Study shows: Your microwave may be the biggest EMF contributor in your home

“Microwaves are electromagnetic waves with frequencies ranging from 300 MHz to 300 GHz. Microwaves are widely used in households, industry, communications, and medical and military buildings, and they provide substantial contributions to the development of human society. However, with its popularization, increasing attention has been paid to its influence on humans. Electromagnetic radiation can be absorbed by organisms, in which it causes a series of physiological and functional changes. Many intricate electrical activities occur in the central nervous system, including learning and memory, which are therefore vulnerable to electromagnetic radiation. Moreover, the popularization of mobile phones has made them the main source of brain exposure to radiation. Therefore, the central nervous system is considered one of the most sensitive organs that is targeted by microwave radiation. A large number of studies have shown that microwave radiation can cause a series of adverse reactions in the central nervous system, including sleep disorders in addition to learning and memory impairments.” Click on to read the full study.

I co-authored a book out NOW: The Succesful Body

The Succesful Body is about understanding health from every angle and finding our weakest link - whether that be mental, physical, spiritual or a combination. I wrote a chapter about how toxins today have contributed to an epidemic of chronic illness. Many don’t realize that toxins wreak havoc on the gut and are linked to digestive disorders, brain fog and the list goes on. A lot of blame has been placed on gluten, but the problem might not be gluten as much as damaged gut due to other factors, we rarely think about.. Probiotics and restrictive diets won’t cure much, if the underlying toxicity isn’t solved. In the world we live in today, so-called clean eating and exercise just isn’t cutting it anymore. We are living in a world with completely new health challenges that needs to be addressed, if we are to thrive in the skin we are in while eating double layered chocolate cake, cos life is too short not to eat cake.. You can get the book on amazon here for Europe: click to get the book and here for The US: click to get the book.

Living close to cell-tower increases cancer risk x 3

n a German study, doctors examined close to 1,000 patients to see if those who lived close to a cell-tower for 10 years had an increased risk of cancer. The social and age differences within the study group were insignificant. They found that the proportion of newly developed cancer cases was three times higher for those living within 400 meters (approx 1300feet) of a cell-tower compared to those living further away. In addition, they found that patients on average became ill with cancer 8 years earlier. To live more than 400 meters away from a cell-tower is particularly important. This is because computer simulation and measurements used in the study showed that the radiation at that distance or less (the "inner region") is 100 times greater than the emissions beyond this distance ("the outer region"). Another important observation from the research is that the first 5 years one lived near a cell-tower, the risk was no different than one living far away from one. However, after 6-10 years the cancer risk jumped threefold for those who lived less than 400 meters from a cell-tower. Even more worrying: the average age of diagnosis was much younger. The risk of breast, prostate, pancreatic, intestinal, melanoma, lung and blood cancer increases significantly.

12 major things that affect your health today (and it's not gluten or cake)

When we want to improve our health, we oftentimes spend all our time focusing on one aspect of our health. And this aspect may not be the one which is causing the health imbalance. This is why “test don’t guess” becomes super important - we want to know our weaknesses and also what our body nutritionally needs (protein/fats/(carbs/vitamin/minerals etc.). If we don’t know the facts, then we might be missing the boat completely. It is super unscientific to guess what will make an impact on our health. Health is not simply “move more and eat more greens”. Everyone knows that, yet many of us who follow that basic recommendation, are not at all healthy. We struggle with abdominal fat, infertility issues, fragile bones, migraines, digestive upset whenever we are not eating bland diet foods and in worst case, we get cancer. The key here is to understand the many different factors today that affect health and pin-point which are relevant for our specific situation. We want to focus on our weakest link. Quite often that has nothing to do with eating glutenfree or skipping cake.

Study shows C60 induces up to 90% life span in rats

C60 has been on everybody’s radar for the past couple years - I am still waiting to see a bit more research on this before I’m head over heels, but a recent study on rats does look promising regarding its effect on reducing oxidative stress and enhancing life-span potential:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22498298/

Scientific studies on animals have shown that the C60 molecule extended the lifespan of rodents by 35% to 90% in addition to having a potent anti-tumor effect.

Is aspartame really harmless just cause it doesn't cause cancer?

Just because something doesn’t cause cancer, doesn’t mean it’s harmless - that should be pretty obvious for all and sundry. Yet that is often the argument these days people use to promote the use of artificial sweeteners like aspartame. I am no fan of anything that mimics calorie intake yet tricks the brain by not containing calories. This is the baseline of how we learned as babies to count our calories naturally: sweet taste = energy intake. When we mess with this fine-tuned system, we risk messing with our appetite-hunger switch and spiralling into yo-yo diets. Click to read on about how aspartame is linked to accelerated aging.

How EMF from your smartphone is causing migraines - connecting the research.

Research has shown that one of the parameters linked to migraines involves stuff that affect the voltage gated calcium channels (VGCC) (1).

Extensive evidence has been published clearly showing that the EMF exposure we get from our smartphones, ipads, wifi etc. can act to produce excessive activity of the VGCCs in many cell types, suggesting that these may be direct targets of EMF exposure. (2)

Conclusion: turn off wifi when not using it and turn off data, wifi and bluetooth on your phone when not using it to minimize unnecessary exposure. Download your music, podcats etc. that you want to listen to - and listen to it with mentioned settings turned off to avoid frying your brain up slowly everytime you want to rap along to 50 cent or whatever.

The 6 Next Big Things in health...

Right now we have access to a host of testing that is able to give us insight into why we suffer from various chronic diseases. And that is of course really amazing. I am talking about testing stuff related to toxic load i.e. pesticides, chemicals, heavy metals, mycotoxins, bacteria imbalances, microbiome, genes and so forth. However, the question is always WHAT are we not testing for today (and thus largely going undetected, undiagnosed and untreated). Following are the parameters I foresee will play a big impact in the near future once wee begin to figure out ways to measure how a person is impacted by them. This is especially true when it comes to figuring out causes of adrenal/chronic fatigue, stress, insomnia and stubborn issues still left unresolved by today’s methods.
